Lisbeth’s bio is coming soon!
How did you come across TM and what made you want to learn it in the first place?
It was the hippy era and I wanted to take part in a big youth festival. The only condition was that you had to be practicing TM. So, I learned this unique, easy technique and have stayed with it ever since. I had no expectations and no special experiences at the beginning. However, I met my husband before the big happening and together we plunged into the great field of spirituality!
How long have you been practicing and teaching TM?
Since the summer of 1970 I have been convinced of TM, which has totally changed my life. Half a year later I entered the student-world as a young TM teacher.
What do you do when you’re not teaching TM?
TM is as much a part of my life as eating and sleeping and I dedicate quite a lot of time to this passion professionally. Throughout my long family life I enjoyed meditating to recharge my batteries. I was always there for the TM world and helped give courses or took on other organisational tasks. For 15 years I have been involved in an Ayurveda Clinic in the administrative area.
What does it bring to your life?
As long as I have been meditating I have been supported by nature. Spontaneously small things succeed in everyday life. I swim on the waves of life and feel a deep inner fulfilment and contentment.
What advice would you give to someone who is interested in learning TM?
Just do it and take it easy. The proof of the pudding is in the eating!
Can you describe the significance of TM in what could be called your spiritual development?
In the last few years, my sense of perception has improved enormously. The deep silence comes by itself as soon as I sit down and close my eyes and the “Life is Bliss” feeling has become stable.
